Refund policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026
1. Fresh flowers and perishable products
Fresh flowers, bouquets and fresh floral arrangements are perishable products. Because of their nature and short shelf life, cancellation and return rights for these products may be limited under applicable Israeli consumer law.
If you wish to cancel a fresh-flower order before it has been prepared or dispatched, contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to stop preparation or delivery, but cancellation is not guaranteed once preparation, sourcing or delivery has begun.
2. Damaged, defective or incorrect orders
If an order arrives materially damaged, defective, significantly different from what was ordered, or if we supplied the wrong product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We may ask for your order number and clear photographs of the product as delivered so we can investigate quickly.
Where you are entitled to a remedy under Israeli law because of a defect, non-conformity, failure to supply, or another matter for which MariaFlowers is responsible, we will provide the remedy required by law.
3. Natural variation and substitutions
Flowers are natural and seasonal products. Colour, size, shape, bloom stage, foliage and exact flower varieties may vary reasonably from photographs shown on the Website. Reasonable natural variation alone is not considered a defect.
If a particular flower, wrapping material or decorative element is unavailable, MariaFlowers may make a reasonable substitution of similar style and equal or greater value while preserving the overall character, colour direction and value of the arrangement. Where a substitution would materially change the character of the order, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer before proceeding.
4. Non-perishable products
For non-perishable products, cancellation and return rights apply in accordance with the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of a Transaction) Regulations and any other mandatory law applicable to the transaction.
Where the law permits cancellation of an eligible distance-sale transaction for a reason other than a defect or non-conformity, MariaFlowers may deduct a cancellation fee of up to 5% of the transaction value or ₪100, whichever is lower, to the extent permitted by law.
5. Personalised and specially prepared products
Products that are personalised, specially produced, printed, engraved, customised or prepared specifically according to the customer's instructions may be subject to additional restrictions on cancellation where permitted by law. Fresh custom floral arrangements may also be subject to the rules applicable to perishable products.
6. Delivery problems
The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate recipient details, delivery address, telephone number and relevant access instructions.
If delivery cannot be completed because information supplied by the customer is incorrect, access is unavailable, or the recipient cannot be reached, we may contact the customer to arrange another delivery attempt. A reasonable additional delivery charge may apply.
Where it is reasonably safe and appropriate, and unless the customer has instructed otherwise, an order may be left in a safe location at the delivery address. We will use reasonable judgment having regard to the nature of fresh flowers and weather conditions.
7. Refund method
Approved refunds will normally be made to the original payment method. Processing time after we issue a refund may depend on the bank, card issuer or payment provider. Where Israeli law specifies a mandatory time period or refund method, the mandatory legal requirement applies.
